IRIA SHAKTHI wing is the women’s wing of IRIA . The SHAKTHI wing was conceived and founded by Dr.C.Amarnath in the year 2021 during his presidentship of IRIA. Dr Flora Nelson was the first National Coordinator for the IRIA SHAKTHI wing
The terms of reference of the IRIA SHAKTHI
To build comradery and rich network amongst all women Radiologists across India.
Organize women centric programs- academic and social throughout the year.
Active participation in all programs and conferences of IRIA, ICRI and IJRI with dedicated women centric segments.
To start a Women’s grievance redressal wing.
Increase international liaison with other Women centric branches of International Radiology Organizations.
Work aggressively for Save the Girl Child movement.
